Advantages of Ethernet over Copper
Ethernet over Copper (EoC) is a kind of Ethernet in the initial mile line that utilizes twisted copper telephone wire pairs that are normally already located at many service areas. Therefore, it is typically quicker to provision EoC than to construct brand-new fiber circuits in older service areas.
Ethernet over Copper is a mature as well as reputable innovation providing the same features as typical T1 lines: dedicated, symmetrical, and full duplex. Its major advantage is that Ethernet over Copper is delivered over copper pairs of DS0 so EoC does not call for expensive fiber build outs. One more excellent benefit over typical T1 lines is that an Ethernet circuit is much easier to update. With the traditional bonded T1, an upgrade in circuit bandwidth can take months because the local telephone company has to install added circuits. With an Ethernet circuit, the port bandwidth can typically be boosted as just a configuration change at the central office. Likewise, Ethernet over Copper runs over multiple pairs of copper so if one pair drops, the bandwidth readily available does drop yet you do not loose the entire circuit as you would with a T1 line. Ethernet over Copper pricing is considerably less than that of bonded T1 circuits of the exact same speed. EoC circuits have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) similar to T1 lines normally with the exact identical guarantees.
We specialize in ME T-1. This page is a short listing of the products specifically offered by T1Market in Limerick.
Going forward, our wish is to constantly improve our product offerings. We now provide business items normally used by bigger firms, particularly: MPLS network service, gigabit ethernet, OC3, and cloud computing bandwidth delivered over a fiber optic backbone. Many of our carriers also supply free managed Cisco routers for multi-year contracts. Primarily, our goal is to build a bond with you - our client - that will last for years to come. Acquiring your trust is what we do all the time. Saving you money on affordable MPLS services is precisely how we keep it.
