Benefits of Ethernet over Copper
Ethernet over Copper (EoC) is a kind of Ethernet in the initial mile link that utilizes twisted copper telephone cable pairs that are normally already in place at lots of service areas. It is typically quicker to provide EoC than to develop brand-new fiber circuits in older service areas.
Ethernet over Copper is a dependable and fully grown innovation supplying the exact same features as conventional T1 lines: dedicated, symmetrical, and also full duplex. Its main advantage is that Ethernet over Copper is supplied over copper pairs of DS0 so EoC does not call for costly fiber build outs. An additional great benefit over conventional T1 lines is the fact that an Ethernet circuit is a lot easier to update. With the conventional bonded T1, an upgrade in circuit bandwidth can take months because the local telephone company needs to install extra loops. With an Ethernet circuit, the port speed can frequently be raised as just a setup adjustment at the central office. Likewise, Ethernet over Copper runs over multiple pairs of copper so if one pair drops, the transmission capacity readily available does drop yet you don't loose the entire circuit as you would with a T1 line. Ethernet over Copper costs is considerably less than that of bonded T1 circuits of the exact same speed. EoC circuits have a Service Level Agreement (SLA) much like T1 lines typically with the exact same guarantees.

As we go forward, our objective is to constantly improve our product offerings. We now provide enterprise products normally used by bigger corporations, specifically: OC3, MPLS network service, gigabit ethernet, and cloud computing bandwidth delivered over a fiber optic backbone. Many of our carriers also supply free managed Cisco routers for multi-year contracts. Primarily, our goal is to create a bond with you - our client - that will definitely last for years to come. Acquiring your trust is what we do here. Saving you cash on low-cost Ethernet services is just how we keep it.
